The LondonParkour App.
Our completely free LondonParkour app sits hand-in-hand alongside our online web presence. Weve tried to make life easier for our students by enabling them to perform the most common tasks on their mobile phone.
The app features the following functionality:
- Upcoming Classes.
See which classes are coming up next and find out all the details about those particular sessions. This feature is directly linked to our website timetable and will enable you to book and pay for the class through our simple and secure stripe.com payment forms.
- Personal Training
The personal training section displays all sessions that are available and bookable by anyone. These are distinct 1-hour sessions at predetermined locations on specific dates. This functionality is also directly linked to our online website and allows you to pay through the stripe.com payment forms.
- News
We have a single news feed sourced on our instagram account @london_parkour. This page on our app is a direct reflection of that account. We believe that having a single source of information will eliminate any confusion on multiple social media platforms and feeds. You can also stay up-to-date with all of our news by simply following our instagram account.
- Tools
As an added addition to the app, we have also included some simple training tools to help with tracking your sessions.
- Tool - Tally
The tally tool is a simple counter with a label. It enables you to keep track of the progress of a particular exercise/challenge in your training. You can add as many tally counters as you like. This means that if you are a coach, you can add a tally for each one of your students. Alternatively, you could include your entire session to track progress for yourself.
- Tool - Stopwatch
The stopwatch is also a fairly straightforward tool. It has a never-stopping timer that can be paused or reset. It includes a label to enable tracking of people/exercises/challenges/etc... Again, as many stopwatches can be added as you like.
- Tool - Countdown
The countdown has a single function to simply count in reverse from the moment it has been added. Good for timing laps / people / etc...
- Tool - Dice
The virtual dice is a random number generator allowing you to pick a minimum and maximum range. The dice can be used to add a random variable into your training sessions or classes. Multiple dice can be added.
- Tool - Multitool
The multitool is a combination of the dice, stopwatch and tally on one page. It allows you build a more sophisticated training session.
